The length of time varies from job to job. A lot of times when you get started on one area, it moves to another area. We can do as much or as little as you would like. It is best to just get started!
The best reason to hire an organizer? You will finish the job you start. Many times when individuals attempt to de-clutter by themselves they get bored, overwhelmed, or life gets in the way. When you hire an organizer, you have committed the time to de-clutter. The organizer knows how to quickly get through a space,make suggestions about how to best organize that space and how to dispose of, donate or turn your clutter into cash.
The cost depends on how much work you want done. Each project takes a different amount of time and it is hard to predict until we get in there and look at each area of the home or office that needs help.
This is the most common obstacle. Everyone thinks their clutter is the worst. There is no need to be embarrassed about anything in your home. We all have reasons for our clutter and it is the rare person that is clutter free! Confidentiality and discretion are the cornerstones of my business. You will notice there are no before and after pictures on this website due to the confidentiality I deem so important.
The answer to that would be a big fat NO! We work together to really see what you feel is valuable in your space, what has real meaning to you, what you can hold on to with the space you have and get to some alternatives to having it in your space.
